8 Learning Station #1: Jersey Shore 11.2 The student will examine how values and points of view are included or excluded and how media influences beliefs and behaviors. Laptop Task: 1.Teachers review the flipcharts. 2.Teachers discuss how the persuasive appeals (pathos, logos,ethos) pervade the illustration. 3.Teachers complete a worksheet. WorksheetWorksheet 8

9 Learning Station #2: Rwanda 11.2 c) Evaluate sources including advertisements, editorials, blogs, Web sites, and other media for relationships between intent, factual content, and opinion. Laptop Task: 1.Teachers watch a video on the laptop (Rwanda). Teachers use primary sources to evaluate intent, factual content, and opinions for each source. 3.
