 I’m Writing About Blood And Some Of The Cells. Also How Blood Flows Trough Your Body. Francelis Gonzalez

 White Blood Cells help your body fight infections and bacteria's.  Most of the white cells form a key part of your natural defenses.  The white blood cells are always on the lookout for signs of disease.  White Blood Cells can attack in many different ways one way could be when a germ appears in the body the white blood cells will produce protective antibodies that will overpower the germ. Francelis Gonzalez

 The Plasma is straw-colored also is clear liquid that is 90% water.  Plasma contains dissolved salts and minerals like calcium, sodium, magnesium and potassium.  Yellowish fluid that carries the blood cells.  It Makes Up 55% of our blood supply. Francelis Gonzalez

 Platelets are colorless bodies that are present in your blood.  When you cut yourself the platelets have the job of traveling to the area and forming a clot to stop the blood.  Platelets prevent you from bleeding even when you are not cut.  They also prevent blood from leaking out of the very tiny vessels in your body called capillaries. Francelis Gonzalez

 The hearts pumps blood into the aorta.  The aorta is the major artery of your body.  When the aorta returns to its original size, the blood is forced into the rest of your arterial system.  Blood moves from the aorta to the arteries, to the arterioles, then to the capillaries. Francelis Gonzalez

 Blood DOES change color but it DOES NOT turn blue.  Blood is always red but when bloods binds with oxygen it turns dark red.  Hemoglobin bonds to oxygen it turns red so arterial blood from the lungs is red.  When blood returns to the veins is less red sort of blue. Francelis Gonzalez

 Red Blood cells have the most important blood duty.  A single drip of blood contains millions of red blood cells.  Red Cells are constantly traveling trough your body delivering oxygen and removing waste if they weren’t your body would slowly die.  Red cells are only red because they contain a protein chemical called hemoglobin that is bright red in color. Francelis Gonzalez

 Is a protein that is carried by red cells.  Hemoglobin is made up of two similar proteins that “stick together.”  Red Blood Cells that transfers oxygen trough out the body.  If your hemoglobin is very low it causes anemia. Francelis Gonzalez

 To donate blood you have to do the donation they do the processes. Then they test the blood they put it in a storage. Then they send it to the distribution.  Human blood may look alike but you cant donate blood to just anyone or receive from anyone different blood type need to match correctly.  Blood is available to be shipped to hospitals 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Red Cells are stored in refrigerators at 6ºC for up to 42 days. Francelis Gonzalez
