2 Monitoring Reports 2010 Monitoring Reports 2010  Every month SSD is required to send a monitoring data report to the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) with data submitted such as: Total Coliform Total Coliform Turbidity Turbidity Biochemical Oxygen Demand Biochemical Oxygen Demand  Most of SSD influent and effluent water analysis are performed by Fruit Growers Laboratory. The remaining are conducted in-house by staff.  The submitted data has to be within the perimeters determined by EPA and regulated by the SWRCB.

3 Yearly Report Once a year a compilation of monthly data and additional tests are performed and submitted to the State Regional Water Quality Control Board. The list of reporting information contains laboratory analysis for a variety of possible pollutants such as Cyanide, Lead, Mercury, Zinc to name a few. 13 Collection System Maintenance and Renovation Program Objective: To reduce sanitary overflows, increase system reliability, optimize service life of collection system components, plan for facility replacement and educate public on importance of maintaining private laterals. 16 Actions Completed 2010 In 2010, approx. 11,582 feet of collection mainline was cleaned and inspected by means of closed circuit televising equipment.
