5 Childcare Apprentice L3 What are your responsibilities and duties, remember that you may be working as a supervisor, or will be expected to mentor other students? Complete the handout to show what you do and importantly why- as an extension task describe the consequences if you didn’t carry out your responsibilities

12 National Occupational Standards (NOS) National Occupational Standards have been developed to assist employers, businesses, employees and individuals. They identify the skills, knowledge and understanding required in different sectors. National Occupational Standards are not training courses or programmes of study, however they do provide a foundation for training and form the basis of: NVQs, VRQs and QCF qualifications etc
