3 3 In the academic year 2004 /2005, all foundation programs had been activated and joined together in the Foundation Programs unit for all Qatar University Faculties (Engineering college, Arts & Sciences college, Business & Economics college and Law college). The mission of the Foundation Program is to prepare and equip high schools graduates with English, Mathematics, and Computer skills that help and qualify them for admission and move to their respective colleges and programs. 7 7 A student may be partially exempted from foundation courses if he/she is Exempted from one or two Foundation subjects (English, Mathematics & Computer) A student who attains partial exemption is eligible to register in credited Courses according to the following table: SS-3-4

8 8 A student will choose his/her courses depending on the results of the level examination tests. Those students who have been completely exempted from all foundation courses should get advised by the college’s advisor. Students who have been partially exempted, should register foundation courses first and then register remaining subjects according college’s advisory.
