6.  The term "measures of central tendency" is a fancy name for mean, median and mode (Schultzkie, 2007).  Mean: Average. The sum of a set of data divided by the number of data. (Do not round your answer unless directed to do so.)  Median: The middle value or the mean of the middle two values, when the data is arranged in numerical order. Mode: The value ( number) that appears the most. It is possible to have more than one mode, and it is possible to have no mode. If there is no mode-write "no mode," do not write zero (0).

7.  1. The weekly Vocabulary test scores for students in English 4A are: 80, 94, 54, 80, 49, 67 and 95. For the seven test scores find: (a) the mean (b) the mode (c) the median

8. Answer – Question 1 Mean Step One: Add all numbers: 67 80 94 52 80 49 96 Step Two: Divide answer by total number of test scores: 518 7= 74 518

10. Answer – Question 1 Median Step One: Put the scores in order from lowest to highest. 49, 52, 59, 67, 80, 80, 94 Step Two: Find the score that is the middle. 49, 52, 59, 67, 80, 80, 94

15.  Review the graph of your Grade Point Average  Reflect on why your Grade Point Average went up or down each semester from the time you entered high school through your eleventh grade year.  Review the Reflective Essay Scoring Rubric hand-out.

16. Write an essay which includes the following: 1. Introductory paragraph with strong thesis statement Detail paragraph one – Ninth grade reflections Detail paragraph two – Tenth grade reflections Detail paragraph three – Eleventh grade reflections. Conclusion – How will your Senior year grades reflect what you have learned from previous years.
