Ranking and Marking Pattern for year 2014-15  For monitoring of hospital performance Clinical Indicators are used  Based on these clinical indicators marking pattern is revised for year 2014-15.  Separate Marking Pattern for each category of hospitals is prepared.  Marking pattern is also finalised for PHCs.  Ranking of Hospitals and PHCs is based on this marking pattern.  Civil surgeon, District health officer and Deputy Director should take review of Hospitals and PHCs in monthly meeting.  In DHIS 2, ranking will generate soon.

7. 7 Norms - 1000 and 300 Marks Inspection - (Once a Year)  Each hospital should be visited at least once a year.  1000 marks inspection report is for District Hospitals, Gen. Hospitals and Women hospitals.  300 marks inspection report is for Sub District Hospitals, and Rural hospitals.  Team of RMO, Pharmacist, Metron and A.O. formed by Civil Surgeon will inspect SDH and RH and fill up 300 marks Hospital Inspection Report.  CS will be the head of the team for DH, GH and WH inspection. 14. Guidelines regarding protocols of admission of prisoners vide letter dated 20.05.14 General guidelines Construction of prisoner ward with 5 male and 5 female beds with CCTV camera at entrance. At admission First CMO will examine the prisoner Committee of CS, ACS and Concerned specialist will admit the patient. In case patient admitted in critical condition patient should be admitted and then informed to committee. After admission Attendance of patient by specialist minimum twice and after called and by ACS daily. Basic tests carried out. Information of treatment given as demanded by court, police or prison. Uniform should be worn, hospital diet unless ordered by Court. After 7 days referred to nearest Govt Medical college for further evaluation. Discharge Discharge card Inform police to move the patient to prison or lock up. Referrals – for test not available, no diagnosis done and after 7 days.
