13 Difference Between Some of the Different Features in Moodle ChatBlogForumOnline Text Description All students join in a common “discussion” area where ideas can be exchanged immediately in any area. On moodle, a more permanent place to publish final work or journal thoughts meant to share with others. Much like chat, it allows for real-time interaction but gives more structure by allowing the teacher to set prompts or questions to talk to. Under “assignment,” teachers can define a writing task or assignment and be able to view, comment, and edit writing by students.
