 Facts about wind power  How would it benefit the future?  Where can you find a wind turbine?  How does the wind turbine work?  A diagram of how a wind turbine works.  wind turbine and a windmill.  pictures  More pictures  And thank you

 Did you know the tallest wind turbine is in Hawaii  The largest wind farms is in the U.S, Altamont Pass.  The bigger the wind turbine is, the more electricity it can produces.

 You don't have to invent other electricity machines so that means it will help the governors to save money.  you would supply energy to an area like a town that means that less oil would be used up.  That if you use wind power you don't use up all the worlds natural resources.

 You can find a wind turbine on a wind farm do u know what the difference is? The difference is that wind mill farms don't create as much energy it can only create a small amount of electricity.  Did you know some schools like Midwest have there own wind farms. In spirit lake the playground is right underneath two wind turbines.

 A wind turbine doesn't use electricity it uses the winds power. The wind turns the blades which spins a shaft, which connects to a generator and makes electricity.  The electricity is sent through transmission and then into homes business and other places which need electricity
