NATA Foundation Position Statement Process Author & Writing Group Selection (Year 1) a.Lead author (AT) invited by the PC b.Author packet sent to lead author c.PC liaison & subcommittee (2 additional members) assigned to PS by PC chair d.Lead author submits writing group members to PC for approval i.All COI and other forms (Authorship contribution form, Author contract, Conflict of Interest form) are submitted ii.Writing group should include 5-8 members iii.Writing group should include the following: 1.International experts in the area of topic 2.Practicing ATs in the area of topic 3.Practicing MDs/DOs in the area of the topic 4.Other healthcare professionals relevant to the topic d.Lead author submits writing group members to PC for approval i.All COI and other forms (Authorship contribution form, Author contract, Conflict of Interest form) are submitted ii.Writing group should include 5-8 members iii.Writing group should include the following: 1.International experts in the area of topic 2.Practicing ATs in the area of topic 3.Practicing MDs/DOs in the area of the topic 4.Other healthcare professionals relevant to the topic f.Writing group has 1 year to submit reviewable draft to PC Writing (Year 2) e.PC approves writing team no later than June meeting 2
