SOAR End-of-Year Remediation 6th-8th Grade Course Recovery Purpose – provide opportunity to make up a course for students who failed a course in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and/or Social Studies Computer-based instruction - teacher of record is FLVS teacher Possibility for student to recover more than one failed course - promotion decisions at completion of course or segment

SOAR Jump Start Goal: Provide a summer learning institute at elementary and Title I middle and high schools to give current primary-aged and incoming 7 th and 9 th grade students a “jump” on the upcoming year’s curriculum. Jump Start will allow target students to enter school better prepared for success in the upcoming school year.
