5 TYPE of METHODOLOGY Ethnography Ethno- methodology Website Practice: art making Practice: Collaborative art making Practice: Collaborative research -Critical Pedagogy -Focus Groups -Questionnaires -Interviews -Videography -Journaling -Participant Observation -Research -Response -Conclusions/Critiques Focus Groups-in preparation for collaborative groups. Possible artwork to serve as examplars on website. Questionnaires- determine past level of collaborative participation. Identify expectations, anxieties to provide assistance where possible. Participant Observation on various levels: in the classroom and in the gallery Journaling by participants capturing both the potential and problems inherent in collaborative practice. Video and/or audio interviews to obtain 1 st person account of collaborative experience. Over the summer, research further about the difference between ethnography and ethnomethodology.
