2. Discuss and outline the industry you wish to work in Web design and web development I have always been interested by web technologies and graphic design. Since I’m 15 I have been working with several customers, companies or associations. Last year I officially obtained the freelance status. My initial speciality is the front-end development but now I am also working on the server-side development with a few technologies such as Php, Python or JavaScript with Node.js. The most important thing is to always remember to stay alert with the latest trends in new technologies. In this industry we need to learn new things every day and try new things. My goal is to create quality websites with rich user experiences. I want work on projects and specific short missions for companies or personal clients. This kind of jobs requires being efficient and quick in the work process. 3. Processes of conception First I started redesigning my CV and my business cards. My initial ideas were to create a simple layout with a grid system. Now I working on the redesign of my personal website. I want a better user experience with an experimental interaction between my website and a smartphone/ tablet. 4. Strengths and weakness Strengths: I am enthusiastic for any kinds of project. I am a perfectionist. I like well done and tidy work. I am innovative and force proposal. I feel at ease within different expertise fields (photoshop, illustrator, Html, Css, Javascript, Php…). Notable achievements: I worked three years for a ecommerce website selling sports equipments. I created the website entirely (visual identity, development, marketing...). After this experience I worked with six other ecommerce websites. Weaknesses: My organisation could be improved. Now I use some tools and I write all tasks I need to do. My english is not perfect yet… I feel that my greatest weakness is that I am very critical of my own work. I have always prided myself on producing excellent and error-free work. While this is beneficial to my job performance, it is possible to go to extremes. I have also found that I can easily waste time checking and rechecking.
