1 Agri-YOUTH Kick Off Meeting Perugia,02-03/December/2013

2 ABOUT ASAJA ASAJA was created on 14 July 1991 as the result of the agreement to merge different Agricultural Organisations (CNAG, CNJA and UFADE), thus becoming one of the largest Professional Agricultural Organisation in Spain.

3 ASAJA was founded in order to represent, manage, defend and promote the professional interests of the agriculture and livestock sector in general and of its member organisations with full legal personality and subject to strictly democratic principles.

4 Its purpose is: - To defend family farms and agricultural companies under any type of private initiative. - To improve the conditions of young people wanting to do this activity, their training and professional development. - To promote the competitiveness of the Spanish agriculture and livestock sector both at home and abroad.

5 ASAJA carries out its activity in Spain and with increasing frequency abroad as well, especially in Community forums. As a Professional Agricultural Organisation, it takes part in all the negotiation committees with the Spanish Administration and with the agro- food industry in representation of crop and livestock farmers.

6 ABOUT ASAJA- Granada ASAJA – GRANADA is a Professional Agricultural Association that has been established to meet the requirements of crop and livestock farmers to defend and promote their interests in the Province of Granada in Andalusia.

7 ASAJA – GRANADA gather the most diverse crop and livestock farmers: individuals and collectives, small, medium and large farms, whether for crop, livestock or forest use, environmental or even complementary activity types, such as agrotourism, rural tourism, etc., representing their interests independently and professionally.

8 ASAJA – GRANADA is one of the most representative Professional Agricultural Association in the province of Granada (Andalusia) with over three thousand active members.

9 ASAJA – GRANADA as an association, provides different services to its members, such as advice on: Accounting, grants, training, technical, legal, tax and employment matters, etc.
