12 Federal Aid Eligibility To receive, a student must: v Have a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED v Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a matriculated student working toward a degree or certificate in an eligible program v Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen

13 Federal Aid Eligibility v Have a valid Social Security Number v Make academic progress v Register with Selective Service, if applicable v Sign a statement of educational purpose and a certification statement on overpayment and default, both found on the FAFSA

14 New York State Aid Eligibility To receive, a student must: v Be a New York State resident v Attend and be matriculated at an eligible school in New York State v Meet other eligibility criteria for specific programs
