19 MissionMission  QUEST (Questioning, Understanding, Engaging, and Success through Technology) is an established GATE community of highly-motivated and talented students. The rigorous curriculum includes Accelerated, Honors, and five required Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The mission of QUEST is to offer a course of study which engages, motivates, and prepares students for the competitive admissions standards of the UC system and top universities. QUEST students also participate in extra and co-curricular activities such as sports, the arts, and student government. Unique opportunities include interdisciplinary field trips/college tours and a Senior Project class. QUEST graduates are accepted to universities such as Cornell, Duke, Stanford, West Point, Berkeley, UCLA and other UC schools. Admission suggested GPA of 3.3 and a B or better in Algebra 1.

20 QUEST is in its twelfth year and is one of the most successful GATE programs in Long Beach Unified School District. Teams of teachers work with students to provide the personal and academic support of a Small Learning Community environment.
