2 “ With heavy hearts, they left the city of Jerusalem. As they walk and talk, they are joined by a stranger. They tell the stranger how they had hoped that Jesus of Nazareth might be the Messiah. They share their stories with him. Once they get to the town, they offer the stranger hospitality. He accepts and eats with them. During the meal they recognize Jesus in the breaking of the bread.” The road to Emmaus Luke 24:13 ff.

10 Individuals and groups meeting people where they are, recognizing them as co-members of the Body of Christ, and treating them with the love and respect with which they would like to be treated. Hospitality Happens Everywhere
