The magic interweb has a crazy amount of job boards Craigslist, Indeed, Career builder, Stack overflow, and so much more Use your High School and College Career Center Make sure you are actually qualified (not just in your head) It’s ALWAYS better to somehow get your resume to the actual people who are hiring LinkedIn is a powerful tool for finding people Does the job posting say who this reports to? Find them

8. Your Network The fastest way to get in the door is if you have an “In” Start with your family - who do your parents / siblings / cousins / uncles know?! Continue on to Friends and Neighbors - Who do your friends (See above) know?! Meet-Ups - good chance to meet people who like what you like (and maybe have jobs for people who like what you like)
