3 80% of employers want new hires to have completed an internship… Only 8% of students say they invest time in internship experiences… 100% of Indiana colleges and employers say every student should have a career-based experience before graduating

4 The Career Ready Indiana campaign aims to ensure every Hoosier student has at least one work-based learning experience before graduating from high school and college.

5 Educate students about the many career options in Indiana, especially in high-growth sectors Expose students to work-and-learn experiences that connect classroom learning to employer expectations Equip students with the education/skills required to succeed in their careers and meet employer demand

Advancing Manufacturing: 12-county regional initiative focused on preparing Hoosiers for careers in advanced manufacturing.
