12 National Pharmacy Technician Certification Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)  http://www.ptcb.org  The PTCB Examination contains 90 questions in three job function areas. 80 questions are graded.  Requirements:  High school diploma or its equivalent  No felony conviction  The examination fee is $129.00

13 National Healthcareer Association National Healthcareer Association Examination for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (EXCPT)  ExCPT Examination contains 110 questions in three job function areas. 100 questions are graded. Two hour exam.  Requirements:  High school diploma or GED  No felony conviction, or crime related to controlled substances  Examination fee: $105
