Employment opportunities Our postgraduate students have gone on to find employment in research (both academic and non-academic), archives, museums and other historically-related areas, as well as in teaching and in a wide range of public and private sector work. A PGT qualification is regarded by many employers as representing a higher degree of intellectual and research- related achievement than a BA degree.
