1 UniMate Usage Guide SecuTech’s UniMate introductory usage guide, this presentation is intended for new users

2 Initialization button This will not accept user input unless a UniMate is detected Initial screen: Pre-connection

3 Main screen: Confirmation popup Confirmation button When a UniMate has been detected, a confirmation is prompted to the user

4 Main screen Certification button This button opens the Certification page: Basic information, Digital Signature and Import Certificate UniMate information button Provides access to the Serial number and random number generator User PIN button Allows a user to verify and modify their PIN and reset the UniMate

5 Main screen/Certification Certification Operation By pressing the button, the user is taken to the Certification screen, which contains basic information about the certificate and signing certificates

6 Main screen/Certification Basic information button Provides information about the current certificate, please note this will only display the latest certificate Signature button Allows a user to create and sign a new certificate, includes settings and verification Import certificate button Initializes the created certificate and imports it

7 /Certification/Basic information Basic Information This button displays information about the current certificate. Please note that only the most recent certificate imported is displayed. To view another, please import another certificate.

8 /Certification/Digital Signature Digital Signature On this screen the user can digitally sign a certificate

9 /Certification/Digital Signature Password User authentication is required to sign a certificate Encryption Allows a user to choose the desired type of encryption Message input Passes a message to the user Initialization Starts the signing process of a digital certificate Feedback Provides feedback about the signature result Signature test Enables the user to check if the result of the signature is correct

10 /Certification/Digital Signature Signature style Allows the user to select the desired method of encryption

11 /Certification/Digital Signature Sign certificate Initializes the signing process of a digital certificate

12 Main screen/PIN Operation PIN Operation Allows the user to perform user password operations

13 Main screen/PIN Operation Password check Allows a user to check their password Change password To change the user password, they must input the previous and the desired passwords Password reset This field enables a user to reset their password

14 Main screen/PIN Operation Illegal input If the user input is unexpected, an error message is displayed

15 Main screen/Basic information Basic information Displays the serial number and use of the number generator

16 Main screen/Basic information Serial number Displays the devices serial number Seed User input for the random number generator, must be between 1 to 32 digits Generate random number Generates the random number based off the input seed
