2 2020 Vision By 2020 all students will graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully in the global economy, participate in a democratic society and contribute positively as members of families and communities.

3 2014 PASS State Results 8 of 30 PASS scores (ELA, Writing, Math, Science & Social Studies) in grades 3 -8 increased over 2013 –3 rd Writing, Math –4 th Writing, Social Studies –5 th Writing, Social Studies –6 th Social Studies –7 th Math

4 Issues Number of Students Scoring Not Met 1 in 3 rd grade reading increased by 1,000 % Students Scoring Met or above in Reading declined across all grade levels (6 th and 7 th grade reading down 5.1%) % Students Scoring Met or above in Science declined across all grade levels
