4. Habitat The Brown bear lives in a den or in the deep dark woods. Brown bears also live in fields. You will see deer, grass, forest, and water where they live.

5. Defense Do you know how the brown bear cubs protect themselves? The cubs climb trees to be safe. Another detail about the bear is it shows its teeth and growls. Finally brown bears have sharp claws.

6. Prey Crunch...crunch... crunch! Grizzly bears eat plants, fruit, and meat. Brown Bears like to eat many different types of flowers and grass. Brown bears eat berries, oats and mushrooms. They also eat fish, mice, ground squirrels, eggs from nest and honey from bees.
