This project called for hydro-blasting maintenance to be performed on the steel infrastructure and support frame of the bridge.

Utilizing scaffolding, suspended cables, and manlifts, crews hydroblasted and prepped the support column and the truss structures to receive a protective coating comprised of.

Workers used manlifts to reach the upper deck area of the steel trusses. Manlift Operation

The steel columns supporting the bridge are also rusted and corroded. Degradation of Support Columns - Preblast

Workers utilized high-tension steel cable with suspended walkboards to reach the areas underneath the bridge. Suspended Walkboards

Workers also used suspended baskets to reach areas around the columns and farther down below the bridge. Suspended Baskets
