2 This workshop will… Introduce you to the A-G requirements Introduce you to the classes offered at HHS that satisfy the A-G requirements Describe the differences between UC and CSU admission processes

3 Social Science 2 years American Government, AP American Government, AP European History, Modern Civilizations, AP US History, US History, SDAIE Modern Civilizations, SDAIE US History, SDAIE American Government *UC- must complete one full year of World History

4 English 4 years English 9, Honors English 9, English 10, Honors English 10, English 11, AP Language & Composition, English 12, AP Literature & Composition

5 Mathematics 3 years (4 recommended) Algebra IA/B, Geometry IA/IB, Honors Geometry IA/B, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Algebra 2/Trig, Honors Algebra 2/Trig, Pre-Calculus, Honors Pre- Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics

11 UC GPA = A-G beyond 9 th Must complete 11 by end of 11 th SAT/ACT- Highest overall score Max of 8 weighted grades CSU GPA = A-G beyond 9 th Must complete all by end of 12 th SAT/ACT- will combine scores from different testing dates Max of 8 weighted grades
