New York University has many different extra-curricular activities that are perfect for me. A few that interest me are newspaper, the student magazine, and the music program focusing on rock groups.

Pepperdine University has many different extra-curricular programs. But the ones that I like are the newspaper, drama, and film society.

New York University NYU sports eight libraries containing a total of 4.5 millions volumes. It boasts many prestigious manuscripts, regarding subjects as far back as the 1700s. It also contains many Greek, Roman, and Egyptian artwork. The Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, their newest library, made its debut in Fall 2008.

New York University Washington Square Park is an icon of New York City. It is located in Greenwich Village in Manhattan and surrounded by the buildings of NYU. The famous arch was made in 1889 to celebrate the hundred years since George Washington was inaugurated as president of the United States. The arch was modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France and still stands proudly today.

Pepperdine University The Stauffer Chapel is one of Pepperdine’s best known features. It provides a place of quiet reflection overlooking Malibu beaches. Ulysses Floyd Rible designed it. Outside, the windows are black, but on the inside it reveals the beautiful stained glass. There is more than 3,000 square feet of stained glass in the chapel in over 105 different colors.

Pepperdine University Pepperdine University has a mix of many different species of trees, most of them native to California.

After researching and comparing the two colleges, I have decided that Pepperdine University is better for me. Even though New York University has a renowned film program, Pepperdine offers good Journalism, Film, and Literature programs as well. It also is a Christian school, and allows me to consider my faith in my future while I study. The international program interests me, too. In conclusion, Pepperdine is the best school for me, and I will consider that while weighing all my options as I explore the future.
