4 It requires 1 volt to push 1 ampere through 1 ohm of resistance. Volts: Is the unit of measurement for electrical pressure. Resistance/Ohm’s: Is the unit of measurement for the opposition to electron flow. Ampere/Current: Is the unit for the amount of electron flow.

6 Series Circuits: Is a complete circuit that has one or more loads where all the current has only one path to flow. Parallel Circuits: Is a complete circuit that has more than one path for current to flow. Series – Parallel Circuits: Are a combination of a series and a parallel circuit. They are also called a compound or a combination circuit.

7 Conductors: Are made up of materials with fewer than four electrons in their outer shells; materials such as copper, gold, silver etc. are considered some of the best conductors. Insulators: Are made up of materials with more than four electrons in their outer shell; materials such as rubber, plastic, nylon etc. are considered some of the best insulators. Semiconductors: Are Materials with exactly four electrons in their outer shell; materials such as silicon, germanium, carbon etc. are considered some of the best semiconductors.

8 Ohm’s Law and the relationship between amps, volts and ohm’s. The three types of circuits.Materials used in a circuit.
