4 What is an adjective? Can you think of an adjective to describe these?

5 What is alliteration?  When the same letter is used more than once to emphasise words in the text.  For example: The creepy creaky castle. My marvellous magic mirror.  Alliteration can also be used when choosing an adjective..  For example: terrible tiger cheeky cheetah scary spider

6 This time, can you think of an adjective that starts with the same letter as the animal?

8 Capital letters When do we use them?

9 CAPITAL LETTERS Proper nouns – People’s names: Amy, Ben, Molly Places: England, Sutton, London At the start of a sentence – After. ? ! The first line of a poem usually starts with a capital letter.
