3  To inspire members of the refugee community to think about starting a business or social enterprise.  To help refugees to make contact with organisations that can help take these ideas forward.

8 The first supplier of halal meat and specialist Asian food in Leigh.  Asim Yassin – talked about what it is like to start up your own business: lonely, exciting, risky.

9 WORKING LUNCH BUSINESS IDEAS  Catering  Hairdressing  Import/ Export  Food processing (African)

10 Paul Carroll, an “Enterprise Coach” has met with 5 refugees this week to help them explore the idea of starting up their own business. Refugees are attending 3 training sessions from the HMRC on tax and running your own business. !!
