7  OSSD  Students need a majority of grade 11/12 courses offered at the college (C), University/College (M), and University (U) type  Math and English marks of 65% or higher are preferred by the colleges  Check program requirements for mandatory high school courses  Start research early (www.ontariocolleges.ca)

13  Entry into an apprenticeship requires the completion of Grade 8, Grade 10, or Grade 12, depending on the trade  Most employers in any trade require individuals be secondary school graduates as a condition of employment
