6 Current Practices & Needs Some Highlights II. ß3D has an important or very important role to play in presenting archaeology to the public and in the study of material culture ~65% of archaeology museums surveyed [& ~80% of experts consulted] ß~35% of museums consulted have already used 3D in some form ß ~45% of museums consulted have 3D in their future strategies N.B.
