3 Title 49 USC 44701 requires each air carrier certificate to include the terms, conditions, and limitations reasonably necessary to ensure safety in air transportation W ESTWIND A IR S ERVICE

4  Used to be one page  OpSpecs provide an effective method for establishing safety standards that address a wide range of variables.  OpSpecs can be adapted to a specific certificate holder or operator’s class and size of aircraft and type and kinds of operations.  OpSpecs can be tailored to suit an individual certificate holder or operator’s needs. Only those authorizations, limitations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to a certificate holder or operator need to be included W ESTWIND A IR S ERVICE

5 FAR 119 119.5(f) A person conducting operations under more than one paragraph of §§119.21, 119.23, or 119.25 shall conduct those operations in compliance with- (2) The appropriate authorizations, limitations, and procedures specified in the operations specifications for each kind of operation W ESTWIND A IR S ERVICE

6 FAR 119 119.7(a) Each certificate holder's operations specifications must contain— (1) The authorizations, limitations, and certain procedures under which each kind of operation, if applicable, is to be conducted; and (2) Certain other procedures under which each class and size of aircraft is to be operated W ESTWIND A IR S ERVICE

7 FAR 135 135.23(c) Copies of the certificate holder's operations specifications or appropriate extracted information, including area of operations authorized, category and class of aircraft authorized, crew complements, and types of operations authorized W ESTWIND A IR S ERVICE

8 FAR 135  135.293(a) No certificate holder may use a pilot, nor may any person serve as a pilot, unless, since the beginning of the 12th calendar month before that service, that pilot has passed a written or oral test, given by the Administrator or an authorized check pilot, on that pilot's knowledge in the following areas—  (1) The appropriate provisions of parts 61, 91, and 135 of this chapter and the operations specifications and the manual of the certificate holder; W ESTWIND A IR S ERVICE
