4 Promotion Requirements In order to promote to from 7 th to 8 th grade & from 8 th to 9 th grade, students must: Pass 80% of their attempted courses – earn 11 credits; Pass 80% of their attempted courses – earn 11 credits; Pass at least one semester of their year long classes.
