12 Implementing Instructional Activities That Actively Engage Students This program is designed for students from all socio-economic groups. The program provides hands-on, activities and opportunities for meaningful dialogue about real life social situations. As students become aware of the high expectations of mainstream social etiquette, the school climate improves and the classroom climate becomes inviting and safe. Students can focus more on instruction and less on classroom disruptions.

13 The Tadpole Dreams has a unique component which allows students to reflect on misbehavior and develop a plan of action for themselves, should the need arise.  “REFLECTIONS and PROBLEM SOLVING” deals exclusively with misbehavior and disrespect in the classrooms. There are activities in the student workbook for the student to complete that address specific classroom problems.  This will benefit the entire school as it provides an early and productive behavioral intervention that can be used by the classroom teacher “Reflections and Problem Solving” Dealing With Misbehavior in School

14 Manners Matter! Manners Matter!  " If you haven't civilized young people by the time they get to college, I don't think you're going to civilize them at all," says Stephen L. Carter, a professor at Yale Law School and author of Civility: Manners, Morals, and the Etiquette of Democracy.  Does he agree that students today possess a diminished sense of decorum? "Yes, I do," he responds politely.
