Monday 17 th November 2014 When we celebrated Founder’s Day, we heard how Marie Madeleine would visit those in prison, take them food, show them, in a very real and practical way, that they had not been forgotten, and that God loved them……… Who are those ‘in prison’? Who do I put ‘in prison’ by excluding them or making them think they have been forgotten? What do I need to change in myself, so that others no longer feel that they are ‘in prison’?

3. Let us pray: Help me Lord, to realise that ‘prison’ is not always a physical place. Help me to move out of my ‘prison’, which prevents me from thinking that I cannot change things for the better, for myself and for others. Help me to see that you have, indeed, written MY name on the palm of your hand, and that you love me. Help me to share that love with everyone I meet today. Amen
