2 ASI’S COORDINATED STRUCTURE HISTORY Access Services established by forty-four public fixed route transit operators in Los Angeles County in 1994. Access Paratransit Certified Riders- October 2005- 76,934 ASI was established as the CTSA in 1994.

4 5310 GRANT WRITING ASSISTANCE Each year, approximately 20 social service transportation providers in Los Angeles County apply for section 5310 grants to replace or purchase accessible vans and buses, communication equipment and computer hardware and software. CTSA assists them in their coordination portion of the application and a letter certifying their coordination activities.

5 Specialized Transportation Roundtables RTPA, CTSA and Caltrans conducts joint workshops with 5310 applicants by providing: Technical Assistance Provide networking and coordination opportunties Specialized Training workshops Supporting RTPA to add 5310 application online

7 RIDE INFO PROGRAM RIDEINFO gives quick, accurate referrals to over 200 public and private accessible transportation providers in Los Angeles County. Rider call the at 1-800-431-7882, or e-mail rideinfo@asila.org to obtain information on all accessible transportation options. rideinfo@asila.org Referral hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

8 TRAVEL TRAINING Fiscal Year 2006-2007 Budget for Travel Training is $200,000 Goal to train 200 Riders To date 20 have completed the training

9 SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS The CTSA offers training for social service agencies and specialized transportation providers throughout Los Angeles County. The areas of training include: Training for Specialized Transportation Providers − CTAA’s Certified Community Manager and Certified Community Supervisor − Transit and Paratransit Management Program by University of Pacific − Substance Abuse − Technology − Coordinated Mobility Management − Legislative Outreach − ADA Paratransit Eligibility − Funding and Regulations

11 FREE FARE Access Services has shown great interest in mobility orientation programs. Our most successfully implemented program has been the Free Fare program.
