Soldiers operate GPS Receivers, flashlights, night vision goggles, and digital cameras, using batteries. What if they're out of these sources? As a solution, we designed the Energy Generator Backpack that converts the normal oscillatory motion into useful and efficient source of elastic energy.
This device allows to restitute the elastic energy stored in the springs during the oscillation of the pack by walking, running and climbing into an electric energy.
As the wearer starts to walk, the loaded – board slides up and down driving a toothed rack to spin a DC servomotor to generate electricity. The faster the user goes, the more power he gets.
Light weight Low friction Fits multiple sized people Comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time Durable enough for multiple uses Does not interfere with normal walking motions Allows for variable weight loads Easy to use `
A friend Of Nature : This technology can keep tons of toxic batteries out of landfills.
This pack can simultaneously carry a load and generate energy at lower metabolic costs than doing these tasks separately
