2. Medical Release Forms  Thomas Tours has their own medical release forms that must be filled out by everyone going on the trip  Includes adults  Must be notarized  May be turned in by the morning of the trip

3. What to pack  ____5 outfits (including the concert dress) ____sets of underwear (underpants, socks, undershirts, bras) ____sleep shirts/pjs ____shoes (tennis, sandals, dress, heels) ____swimsuit ____jacket ____toothbrush ____toothpaste ____deodorant ____hairbrush ____hair things ____shampoo ____lotion ____sun block ____lipgloss ____medications ____CELL PHONE WITH CHARGER ____contacts/case/solutions ____shaving kit ____make up bag ____camera ____extra cash

4. Chaperones  Each Chaperone will be assigned 2-4 Students  While in the Parks, they are to report to you at least once every 2-4 hours  A phone call is acceptable—so as to not lose place in a line  Students check in with Chaperones  Chaperones check in with Directors if any issues arise  Students are NEVER to be alone  Must travel in at least a group of 2  Cannot consist of 1 boy and 1 girl  In case of EMERGENCY:  Contact Chaperone 1 st  Chaperone Contacts Directors  Chaperones please check with Mr. Byrd after meeting for Student assignments

Here’s the trip  Saturday: March 23, 2013  5:00 a.m.: Band Room will Open  5:15-5:45 a.m.: Load Bus and Check for any missing instruments/people  6:00 a.m.: Depart South Side High School  1:00 p.m. Eastern: Lunch in Kennesaw, GA (Boosters Providing Lunch)  7:30 p.m.: Dinner on own in Lake City, FL (Allow $5-$10 for meal)  11:00 p.m.: Arrive at Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, FL  9700 International Dr.  Orlando, FL 32189  407-996-9700

Here’s the trip  Sunday: March 24, 2013  8:00-9:00 a.m.: Breakfast at Hotel (included)  9:15 a.m.: Depart Hotel (in concert attire, but with casual clothes packed)  9:45 a.m.: Arrive at Backstage EPCOT  Warm-Up  Parents are not allowed in Backstage area while band is warming up  11:15 a.m.: Band performs at Melody Gardens Stage in EPCOT  12:15: Depart EPCOT and Head to Magic Kingdom  11:59 p.m.: Depart Magic Kingdom for Hotel  One meal is included in park  Allow $10-$15 for another meal in the park plus additional money for snacks and drinks  TOTAL FOR DAY: $20-$30

Magic Kingdom  Suggestions:  Pick up a Park Map at the entrance  Start on one side and work your way around  Know places you can eat based on where you are in the park  Make use of the Fast Pass  Get to a good spot early for any Parades and Fireworks  During Wishes: Watch the Castle to see Tinkerbell Fly down towards Tomorrow Land  Buy any souvenirs you want during your last hour  Feel free to look around before and know what you want  Nobody wants to walk around with bags all day  Wear COMFORTABLE shoes that you can wear all day

Here’s the trip  Monday: March 25, 2013  7:15-8:15 a.m.: Breakfast at Hotel (included)  8:30: Head to Animal Kingdom  9:00-2:30: Enjoy Animal Kingdom park (Lunch on own in Park $10-$15)  2:30: Depart Animal Kingdom for EPCOT  3:00-10:00:Enjoy EPCOT (meal coupon provided)  10:30: Arrive at Hotel  Total for Day: $10-$15 plus extra for snacks/drinks

13.  Things to do:  DINOSAUR  Expedition Everest  ROLLER COASTER  It’s Tough to be a Bug!  Kali River Rapids  Guaranteed to be soaked head to toe!!  Kilimanjaro Safaris  Best to do before 12 so you can see more animals  Pangani Forrest  See live animals: tigers, gorillas, naked mole rats!!  Festival of the Lion King

14. Animal Kingdom  Places to Eat:  Coupon Accepting/Cheaper Places to eat  Flame Tree Barbeque  Pizzafari  Rainforest Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom  Restaurantosaurus  Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes

Animal Kingdom  Suggestions:  Get a fast pass for either Expedition Everest or Kilimanjaro Safaris when you first get to the park  If you ride Kali River Rapids  Bring a poncho, extra clothes, or give yourself time to dry off  If you go to Festival of the Lion King  Show up 30 minutes early  DO NOT MESS WITH THE ANIMALS!!!!
