A Note About Cultural Diversity In the context of public health, cultural diversity includes: the effects of ethnic, gender, racial, socioeconomic, and cultural belief and practice varieties on a population’s health and wellness and their assessment, protection, and improvement through detection/monitoring, prevention/promotion, intervention/containment, policy/management, and research.
