5 Blocked Out Teeth Create space using: Open Coil Spring (0CS) IPR

7 Once space has been created use eyelet bracket
to allow easier engagement of wire

8 Once the tooth moves into the line of the arch, the
metal eyelet bracket can be replaced with a regular Cfast bracket

9 Blocked Out Teeth Coil is compressed between 2 teeth.
Measure distance between 2 brackets Add 2-3 mm and cut coil of this length Use quick ties on the teeth either side of the OCS Use IPR CONSERVATIVELY as previously described. Once space created use eyelet bracket to easily engage wire When tooth in better position – replace eyelet bracket with conventional Cfast bracket.
