Required Tests All required tests must be passed before applying for Gate 3 (with the exception of the SLLA)**All required tests must be passed before applying for Gate 3 (with the exception of the SLLA)** –VCLA (all initial licensure candidates) –Praxis II (Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, and Math Specialist)* –SLLA (Administration candidates)** * RVE has replaced the VRA as of August 2011. If you have taken VRA (and passed) then these can be used in place of RVE. **SLLA (or equivalent test in another state) is required by the start of internship for every administration/supervision candidate. If your state does not have a designated test then you must meet the Virginia licensure scores.
