3. Climate of Bahamas - Average temperature currently: The highs range from 74-85 and the lows are near 70. - Weather conditions in 2011 have been nice and around 70, which is about the average for this fabulous vacation spot! I will be visiting the beginning of Spring.

4. How to get to the Bahamas To get to this destination, you must fly to Florida and then take a ship ride to the Bahamas, or you could just fly from Florida to the Bahamas. The distance from Ridgefield CT, is roughly about 4 hours by plane of course. Even though this is a far flight, the cost for one adult round trip ticket is roughly $1240.

5. A great choice for a great stay at the Bahamas is the hotel Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. For a room in the Royal towers, which is the main building, a room per night is about $600. Some amenities available would be access to a heated pool, a gym and fitness center, and even a beach right outside the hotel! Another fabulous hotel is called Sandals, a luxury hotel in the Bahamas. If you choose to stay in the Luxury building, then it will be about $245 a night. This hotel; includes amenities such as a heated pool, tennis courts, and beach front views.

6. Atlantis’s Thrilling Water Slide In the hotel Atlantis, located in the Bahamas, they have an amazing water slide that is not only fun, but interesting. During your ride down the steep water slide, you travel through a shark tank so you can actually come face to face with a real life shark! But of course, you have a glass tube between you. Although this ride can be a little scary at first, it will all be worth it afterwards!
