Wilhelm Carl Grimm (1786-1859) -always suffered from health problems -married his childhood friend Dorothea in 1825 -Had 5 children, one died in infancy -Was invited to move to Berlin in 1840 -Began giving lectures at the university -Worked on life-long project of creating ultimate German Dictionary along with brother Jacob entitled Deutsches Worterburch -Only managed to reach F before their deaths -Died from an infection in 1859

7. Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm (1785-1863) -was extremely close to brother Wilhelm -lived with Wilhelm after he married Dorothea -continued to live with Dorothea and the children after Wilhelm’s death -suffered a stroke and died in 1863 -Was buried next to Wilhelm
