2 DCP Vendor Resources 2 Register your Organization in Vendor Portal If you haven’t already done so, you will need to register your organization in Vendor Portal before you can accept an MTAC request. You can register here: http://vendorportal.nycenet.edu http://vendorportal.nycenet.edu

3 DCP Vendor Resources 3 Responding to an MTAC Request (via Email) You will receive an MTAC Request by email. Use the link provided in the email to respond/submit your proposal. You will then be taken to a web page (pictured in slide 4) that will ask you to enter your organization’s Tax ID and Password. This will direct you to your MTAC Home Page.

5 DCP Vendor Resources 5 Responding to an MTAC Request (via Vendor Portal) Although we recommend that you respond to an MTAC through the email, you can also respond and view the status of your MTAC via Vendor Portal (see below).

6 DCP Vendor Resources 6 On the MTAC Home Page, View the Details & Status of an MTAC Proposal MTAC Column The MTAC column will display all of the MTAC requests that you have received.

7 DCP Vendor Resources 7 When the MTAC is opened from the MTAC home page, a second window will display details of the MTAC. On the MTAC Home Page, View the Details & Status of an MTAC Proposal (cont.) MTAC Column

8 DCP Vendor Resources 8 Viewing the Status of a Proposal from the MTAC Home Page Response Yes / No - A response was not selected, and the MTAC Closing Date has not passed. Responded Yes - You have committed to submitting a proposal. Responded No - You have indicated that you will not submit a proposal. MTAC Closed - The PQS closing date has passed without a response.

9 DCP Vendor Resources 9 Your Proposal Create Proposal - You have responded “Yes” to the MTAC request, but you have not yet created a proposal. If the MTAC Closing Date has not passed, the proposal can be created. Edit Proposal - If you have drafted or submitted your proposal and the MTAC Closing Date has not passed, you can modify your proposal. Proposal Locked - Once the MTAC Closing Date has been reached, your proposal can not be modified or submitted. Viewing the Status of a Proposal from the MTAC Home Page (cont…)

11 11  Vendor Details – All five fields above (Vendor Name, Contact Person, Address, Phone Number and Email Address) will be automatically populated. The details can be modified.  Vendor Proposal Details – Contains four fields which must be completed in order to submit a proposal. –For guidance on each field, move the mouse pointer over the button to see the description. –If you are attaching a file, click the “Browse” button.  – You can choose to save your proposal at any time before submitting it. When you decide to edit the proposal, select Edit Proposal  – Once you determine that your proposal is ready, click this button to send the proposal to the requestor for review.
