STEPS TO IMPLEMENT Player Safety Coach completes online certification Player Safety Coach attends in-person clinic hosted by a USA Football Master Trainer All coaches complete USA Football’s online certification course Youth = Level 1 certification High school = High school certification Coaches conduct Heads Up Parent Safety Meeting with parents Introduce Heads Up Football Instill confidence in all Free parent/player memberships Reinforce training and mentor organization’s coaches throughout the season Utilize the assessment tool to ensure coaches are putting Heads Up training to use Player Safety Coach conducts Heads Up Coaches Clinic and ensures all coaches have completed their required certifications
