7 Plant Divisions Bryophytes (Nonvascular) Do not contain specialized conducting tissues Live in water or moist environments Examples: moss, liverworts, and hornworts Tracheophytes (Vascular) They contain vascular tissue: xylem and phloem Examples: ferns, conifers, and flowering plants.
