6. Good Conduct Medal For exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity Awarded every 3 years of service for enlisted soldiers.

7. Service Medals An award made to personnel who participated in designated wars, campaigns, or expeditions; or who have fulfilled specified service requirements in a creditable manner.

8. Service Ribbons A portion of the suspension ribbon of a Medal, worn in lieu of the medal Not to be mistaken for a Training ribbon such as the Army Service Ribbon and the NCO Professional Development Ribbon

9. Appurtenance Appurtenance show achievement of multiple awards bestowed on a soldiers or additional achievement. Oak Leaf Clusters, Numerals, Good Conduct Medal Clasp and Service Stars show multiple awards. The "V" Device is worn to denote participation in acts of heroism involving conflict with an armed enemy The Arrowhead denotes participation in a combat parachute jump, helicopter assault landing, combat glider landing, or amphibious assault landing, while assigned or attached as a member of an organized force carrying out an assigned tactical mission.
