How does the Bible define it? “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.” 1 John 3:4 (NIV) “Sin opposes the law.” (NLT) “Transgression of the law.” (KJV) Not just any law—it is God’s law. Humans have rebelled against their Maker.

21. SIN Final Words {250} The Way God has dealt with sin entering this world reveals much about His character. His divine knowledge, love, and infinite grace are evident in His actions. In a terrible, sin-ridden world, God in His mercy offers us a way out through Jesus. Accept this gift and live accordingly.
