On car cleaning cannot solve all injector problems but it can provide a cost effective method to improve performance
On car fuel injector cleaning systems can correct excessive or inconsistent flow pressures but, they cannot correct mechanically damaged or severely varnished injectors. If you still have a fuel delivery issue after cleaning you may have to replace the faulty injectors. There are off car (ASNU) fuel injector cleaning systems that allow you to visually observe the spray pattern and accurately measure the flow being delivered by each injector.

When we did our re-scan of the PCM data we saw some significant improvements. Naturally the O2 sensors were performing to specifications and the LTFT had already started to improve. As the car is driven the LTFT will continue to improve back to 0% adjustments. The idle speed had increased while the IAC position had been reduced by the PCM. The injector pulse width was also reduced even though the idle speed was up.
